Our Support Group's Main Aims 
The Devizes & Wiltshire Fibromyalgia Support Group (registered charity 1070441) aims to give help, support and advice to those people who have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia Syndrome, ME/C.F.S., and to people with other related illnesses.

We also give help, support and advice to their Carers and members of their families.

We can help and advise on: 
·     claiming Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Attendance Allowance (AA);
·     how to get help with personal care and around the house;
·     how to get diagnosed by seeing a consultant

Profile of Services 
·     an advice and support help-line;
·     a monthly Newsletter;
·     loan of books and videos on Fibromyalgia;
·     loan some relief equipment;
·     monthly members' meetings;
·     access to fax, scanner, TV/Video, projector/screen and laptop.

Regular Meetings:
Our meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday of each month at 19:00 at The Jubilee Buildings, 32 Market Place, Chippenham.

We cover the following areas: Kennet, North Wiltshire, West Wiltshire, Salisbury, Trowbridge, and Swindon. Our members (86 at present) are men and women of all age groups.

Fibromyalgia Association UK 
The national association has brought together a Fibromyalgia All Party Parliamentary Group to work towards the Government's recognition of Fibromyalgia. With recognition will come research, increased awareness and better understanding.

The Devizes and Wiltshire Fibromyalgia Support Group works alongside Fibromyalgia Association UK to bring awareness and recognition about Fibromyalgia.
